What Hot Chocolate, Florida and a Piaggio Ape Have In Common
BTS of our biggest week yet! Oh...and a fun recipe just because.
Our lives are unusually topsy turvy at the moment so once again, I’m doing a different format today. We have some interesting events happening in our life and I thought I would give you a little behind-the-scenes look. I hope you enjoy it!
A week ago, Sunday we were doing our normal Sunday morning routine of drinking cappucinos and catching up on travel videos on YouTube. The travel bug bit so hard, we immediately stopped what we were doing, booked an AirBnB and within 18 hours were on the road.
I don’t know that we’ve ever done anything quite as spontaneous, but it was super fun and it gave us the relaxation and brain space to prepare for the next big event for the week…
Four days later upon our return to Texas we took delivery of the cutest, little Mobile Bar Tap Truck. Meet Dolores, an Italian Piaggio Ape (pronounced ah-pay not like the 🦍) that was imported by our new friend and original owner Katy. She lovingly restored the cab of the truck and along with her dad created the tap box.
We will be able to do weddings, corporate parties, milestone birthdays/anniversaries, showers and bachelorette parties and almost any other event you can think of. So, if you know anyone in the DFW area, especially west of the airport, please pass our information and website along.
So needless to say, we’ve been a bit busy. I will keep sending out weekly meal plans on Thursdays for paid subscribers (Upgrade Here to get them!) and Monday posts may continue to be a variety show for awhile! Thanks for hanging in there with me. There’s a bonus recipe below just because it’s perfect for the cool fall nights!
xoxo,
Christi
